This bare steel base plate is helpful when building your own custom, frisco-mount motorcycle gas tank. Frisco mount means that the gas tank tunnel is shallow, so the gas tank sits up high on the frame’s backbone. This base palte is 17-3/4″ long, 11-3/8″ wide, and has a 2″ wide tunnel intended for a 1-3/4″ diameter backbone (which is a common size), and is approximately 16ga thickness. .
